As mentioned in my How Quitting Dairy Saved My Skin blog post, in order to achieve the clear skin I have now, I had to make several changes including my diet & skin care products. Every body is different and the same products that I use may not have the same effect for you. Take the time to learn what your body loves/needs and then treat it kindly.

Morning: Depending on the season I may just do a rinse with cold water if it is winter or I will use a charcoal detoxifying soap from Yamali Naturals. I always follow with a moisturizer that contains Vitamin C and SPF. I use Murad Essential-C Day Moisture.
Evening: I swap between my detoxifying charcoal soap, seaweed soap, or a scrub from Lush. One of my favorites is Angels on Bare Skin.
Once A Week: I use a face mask, usually from Lush, that doesn’t dry out my skin. I love the Mask of Magnaminty and Cup O’ Coffee from Lush Cosmetic as well as the Detoxifying Mask from TruSelf Organics. I am a sucker for products that claim to stimulate the skin & senses and both of these masks do it for me, plus you have the added benefits of of helping to fade old acne scars.
As I said before, take the time to see what your body responds to. It won’t happen overnight but if you have patience and a good routine/diet, you will begin to see the results!
